Eliminating The “Buckles” In Human Skin With Nanotechnology
Dr. Ilsoon Lee, a chemical engineer and assistant professor of Chemical Engineering at Michigan State University, believes that the nanoparticles that prevent thin films from buckling may also have benefits for human skincare. By applying nanoparticles in a higher concentration into the skin, Dr. Lee believes that the particles may stop skin from wrinkling at all. He notes a multi-layer of nanoparticles could prevent thin polymer films from buckling and wrinkling as they are heated during the manufacturing process, thus allowing the films to function properly in the electronic devices.
