Hewlett Packard Announces Latest Finding In Its Flexible Electronics Research

Researchers at Hewlett Packard (HP) have created a new way to make flexible electronic circuits that would be able to either modify or update computer-based products, even after they have been sold. The technology was built on an idea from two researchers at Stony Brook University in New York, Dmitri Strukov and Konstantin Likharfev, who first proposed the method by which to mesh nanowires atop a chip circuit for data transfer. HP believes their novel flexible electronics could be introduced to the market within the next ten years.
