Clothing That Knows When Youâre Too Hot or Cold? Thank Nano for That
This month, the French fabric house Avelana and Roudiere launched a âthermoregulatorâ fabric line. Their line of garments offers wearers a similar temperature regardless of weather. The new Klimeo process involves the application of a treatment of microcapsules grafted to pure or mixed wool fabrics: when it is cold, the microcapsules are solid; when it is warm, the capsules become liquid.
