Australian Government Officially Formalizes Its National Nanotech Strategy
Australia’s Industry Minister Mr. Ian Macfarlane officially released a government nanotech report this month. It is considered the first step in determining a National Nanotechnology Strategy for the country. The report contributes to creating a regulatory framework for the development of nanotech applications. It is one component of the Australian government’s nine-point nano plan, one that also includes establishing a dedicated office for developing and coordinating its National Nanotechnology Strategy.
