FDA Creates Nanotechnology Task Force
The FDA announced this month that it will form an internal FDA Nanotechnology Task Force. The group will be responsible for establishing regulatory approaches that further the development of safe and effective FDA-regulated products that use nanotechnology. One of the first orders of business for the Task Force will be to chair a public hearing on October 10 to evaluate nanomaterials, and hear about the latest research related to nanotechnology and its use in consumer products.
