The NSTI Nanotechnology Excellence Awards program recognizes outstanding
participants in the nanotechnology community for both scientific,
industrial impact and entrepreneurial excellence.
Selection Criteria
Winners of awards are determined through an expert peer review process consisting of academia, government, corporate and investment experts in nanotechnology and its related fields.
Award Track Categories
The Nanotechnology Excellence Awards program consists of two tracks:
- Excellence in Scientific Research and Technology Development
in Nanotechnology
Nominees must be presenting a paper (oral or poster) at the
2008 Nanotech Conference
- Excellence in Industrial/Entrepreneurial Impact of
Nanotechnology
Nominees should be presenters in the 2008 Program in either:
- Nanotech Ventures (Early Stage Company)
- TechConnect Summit (Individual Patent or IP Portfolio)
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for consideration in the NSTI awards program, a nominee must be an accepted oral or poster presenter in the 2008 Nanotech Conference, NSTI Nanotech Ventures, or TechConnect Summit.
Nomination Procedure
Organizations may make only one nomination annually for the NSTI Nanotechnology Excellence Awards program for each category. Nominations should be submitted online no later than April 21. Because NSTI already maintains a database on preliminary review of all submitted research papers, technologies, companies and IP, the nomination process requires very basic information.
2008 nominations open in January 2008. Please bookmark this page, and check back at that time.
