Dr. Michael Schen currently serves as the Senior Scientific Advisor to the Director of the Technology Innovation Program (TIP), on matters related to the scientific, technological, and programmatic collaborations of TIP with stakeholders and clients. Michael’s area of detailed technical expertise includes materials science and engineering, polymer science, nanotechnology, and electronic and photonic materials, and has detailed experience within the electronics, photonics, microelectronics, and materials industries. Prior to joining TIP, Michael served a number of science, technology, and management positions within NIST and industry.
