National Program Director for Nanotechnology
Jeff Morris is EPA’s National Program Director for Nanotechnology, and is responsible for managing EPA’s Nanomaterials Research Program. Jeff led the development of EPA’s 2007 Nanotechnology White Paper and the 2009 EPA Nanomaterials Research Strategy. Jeff also co-leads the US delegation to the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development’s Working Party on Manufactured Nanomaterials, and co-chairs the Working Party’s test guidelines steering group. Jeff has a PhD in Science and Technology Studies from Virginia Tech, and his own research focuses on how societal discourse about risk affects environmental policy making.
