Synopsis
This symposium will highlight the synthesis, characterization and applications of soft materials that contain nanoparticles: colloids. Colloid science has a tradition stretching back long before we started to call materials containing nanometer to micron sized structure “nano”. Colloids comprise a wide range of products including foods, personal care products and paints.
Topics & Application Areas
Online abstract submissions are now being accepted. Proposed topics include, but are not be limited to:
- Colloids in optics & photonics
- Stimuli-sensitive particles & assemblies
- Particle stability - understanding & control of stability
- Nanoparticle-protein interactions
- Applications in personal care products & foods
- Other
Journal Submissions
Soft Matter Journal
Selected Nanotech Proceedings papers will be reviewed and invited into Soft Matter.
For consideration into Soft Matter, please select the “Submit to RSC Soft Matter Journal” button during the on-line submission procedure. Please note that you may only select a single journal during the submission process.
Journal of Experimental Nanoscience
Selected Nanotech Proceedings papers will be reviewed and invited into a Special Issue of the Journal of Experimental Nanoscience. The journal provides a showcase for advances in the experimental sciences underlying nanotechnology and nanomaterials.
