Ramanan Krishnamoorti is a professor of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and Chemistry at the University of Houston and also serves as the Associate Dean for Research in the Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston. He obtained his bachelor¹s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University. Subsequently he did post-doctoral research at the California Institute of Technology and Cornell University and joined the University of Houston as an Assistant Professor in 1996. He is a recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER award. He has published over 95 peer reviewed papers, made over 130 presentations, edited 3 books and has 6 patents (issued and pending).
