I joined Cogent and the Department of Engineering and Computing in 2007 as a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science.
Prior to coming to Coventry I spent four years as a Senior Research Fellow in the Institute for Manufacturing, which is a division of the Cambridge University Engineering Department.
Before that I worked in the Information Technology Industry in various positions for about 17 years, the last few years of which I was self-employed. The work ranged from things such as diagnosing and resolving operating system level problems in customised IBM OS/390 systems, to developing SSH-based tools to automate the management of large numbers of Unix servers.
Speaking in the special symposium on Sensors & Systems.
