Armin R. Völkel
Armin Völkel is a scientist in the Electronics Materials and Devices Laboratory at the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). He currently conducts research in clean water technologies with focus on particulate removal from any kinds of source waters. Dr. Völkel has extensive experience in the modeling and simulation of complex physical systems including polymer and polyelectrolyte dynamics in free flow and restricted media, protein stability, controlled aggregation of colloidal systems, Xerography, micro electromechanical systems, and micro-fluidic systems. He received his Dipl.-Phys. degree and the Dr. rer. nat. degree, both in Physics, from the University of Bayreuth, Germany.
