Abstract:
In this work we developed higher surface area carbon electrodes by oxygen plasma treatment to introduce porosity and activate the surface for immobilizing the enzyme. Alternatively we patterned block copolymer F127 mixed SU8 and soaked in water to take advantage of surfactant nature of the copolymer before carbonization which eventually created nanoporous structures with bimodal porosity distribution.
