Tremendous growth in the solar electric industry has increased demand for solar integrators worldwide. While this growth is exciting, it has also given rise to numerous integrator start-ups, that may or may not have the knowledge and experience required for a successful solar electric design and installation. A case study will be presented to illustrate what to look for in an integrator to ensure a solar installation is a smooth-running process that exceeds expectations and avoids common pitfalls.
