Abstract:

Strengthening communities through upcycling, where waste is reclassified as a nutrient and returned to the community under stakeholder terms. This practice of diversion not only reduces the waste stream, but allows GHG emission minimization to become a normative behavior versus traditional forms of waste disposal like incineration, recycling, or landfill.
