Abstract:

Significant increases in cell efficiency (25-50%) on thinner substrates without cost increase (we expect our technology to reduce material cost cancelling out any extra coating cost); easy integration with existing solar manufacturing practices. By reducing cell thickness/increasing efficiency, plasmonic coatings can reduce material, manufacturing, energy and emission costs.
