Abstract:

The three main advantages of the technology are the number of unique codes provided (billions), the ability to encode information at any stage during a chemical process and the low error detection rates. We envisage a lab-on-a-chip magnetic device that utilises magnetic microlabels functionalised with biomolecular compounds.
