Abstract:
Sub-millimeter, implantable recording and/or stimulation probes for the diagnosis and treatment of neurological and other disorders. A novel communication mechanism enables miniaturization significantly beyond existing microprobe and requires much lower power. After implantation, the subject has full range of motion without the usual constraints of a probe array.
