Abstract:

The invention consists of an array of microwells allowing isolation, manipulation and analysis of hundreds to thousands single cells. Supernatant can be changed while keeping the cells in the platform. The array allows high-throughput transferring of single cells to standard microtiters, thus enabling new single-cell laboratory workflows.
