Abstract:

This IP is about an inexpensive, continuous, and scalable synthesis method for particles with a mean diameter of 1 Ám, with a magnetic core that is fully encapsulated within a silica shell. These particles may be used for biological separation, catalyst support, and microwave-absorbing coatings.
