Abstract:

An electronic platform is proposed to recover vision for blinds. The platform is made of a miniaturized implant connected to the Cortex communicating to a camera or an eye prosthesis. Tests on rats recently started in order to appreciate in vivo the functioning of the intracortical visual electronic system.
