Abstract:

Bulk heterojunction photovoltaic (BHJ-PV) cells contain two types of semiconductor materials, each having complementary doping to the other, sandwiched between two electrodes. These nanopillared electrodes reduce the distance charges, separated by light shining on the cell, must travel to be turned into useful electricity.
