Abstract:
The nanoparticles of CdS were precipitated onto a self-organized TiO2 nanotube array photo-electrodes by using sonochemical synthesis combining with constant current electrochemical deposition. It is indicated that the CdS nanoparticles with average diameter of 28.1 nm have been deposited into/on TiO2 nanotubes. The prepared nanocomposite of CdS-TiO2 possesses stronger photocurrent and broader photo-response range than blank TiO2 nanotube arrays and plain electro-deposition.
