Abstract:

By significantly improving the filtration efficiency of a vehicle engine oil filter the use of the engine oil can be greatly extended, reducing motor oil consumption and generation of hazardous waste. This was demonstrated by road testing supported by oil analyses and examination of the evolution of oil test parameters.
