Sarah L. Tao

Senior Research Engineer, MEMS Design
The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc.

Dr. Tao received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Pennsylvania in Bioengineering in 2000. She earned her Ph.D. at Boston University in Biomedical Engineering in 2005, and went on to join the University of California at San Francisco as a principal scientist with particular emphasis in BioMEMS and applied materials. In 2007, Dr. Tao joined The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. as a Senior Member of the Technical Staff. The focus of Dr. Tao’s research is the development of micro and nano based platform technologies for diagnostic and therapeutic modalities

Co-chairing the special session on Nanotech to Neurology.
