Nanostructure Fabrication: Challenges of Top-Down and Bottom-Up Approaches |
| Sandip Tiwari
Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and
Lester B. Knight Director of Cornell Nanofabrication Facility
Cornell University
| Sandip Tiwari's interests are in questions that arise when connecting large scales such as those of massively integrated electronic systems to small scales. In pursuit of answers, his group has developed ideas in adaptive electronics, small devices and their circuits, 3D and functional integration. He is Charles N. Mellowes Professor of Engineering, founding editor-in-chief of IEEE Trans. on Nanotechnology, director of National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network, recipient of the 2007 IEEE Cledo Brunetti Award for invention of nanocrystal memory, and author of a popular text on compound semiconductor device physics.
