Abstract:
This case study of the process by which Massachusetts reviewed and revised environmental regulations pertaining to the biotechnology industry provides useful insights into the potential regulatory issues facing the nanotechnology sector and lessons about how industry representatives may need to work with state officials to adapt regulatory frameworks to sector-specific needs.
