A novel enabling technique to manufacture nanospheres made entirely from a single material such as carrier-free drug nanoparticles. For example, nanoparticles with 10-200 nanometers diameter can be prepared to improve solubility and dissolution. Surface-modified particles with specific receptor agonists enhances site specific targeting to tissues and cells
