Magnetic Levitation in Minimally Invasive Surgery

Abstract:
A small platform is inserted into abdominal cavity through a small incision. The platform is levitated in the abdominal space and controlled by a magnetic system outside the patient and can include a camera, light, wireless communication unit and wireless control of surgical instruments mounted on the levitated platform.
