Consortium of Italian Universities for the Science and Technology of Materials (INSTM)
The INSTM, established in September 1992, is a Consortium of 44 Italian Universities and groups more than 2.000 members, most of all are researchers in all the different main subjects of INSTM.
The INSTM promotes the research activities of its members in the area of Materials Science and Technology through organizational, technical and financial support.
Through the integration of a “critical mass” of knowledge, INSTM competes at the highest level, with innovative, pure and applied research projects in order to satisfy the needs and quality standards of national, international and industrial research.
