Ohara is a world leader in the manufacturing of precision optical glass. These are available as strip/slab, cut/molded blanks, high-homogeneity blanks, fine gobs and polished ball lenses. Materials are in the optical and near UV (i-Line glasses). We are also a supplier of zero expansion glass ceramics and double-sided polished substrates (low surface roughness/excellent flatness). Polished substrates are cleaned in a class 100 environment and provided with excellent measurement services (Zygo New View, Tropel Flatmaster, AFM).
