The Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH) is a Korean government-funded research institute to support industrial technology development of SMEs. Since its foundation in 1989, KITECH has dedicated itself for development of commercialization technology, SME support and development of the nation’s strategic industrial technology. Today KITECH is one of the largest research institutes in Korea containing many subsidiaries.
