Dr. Adams completed his M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering with an emphasis on biophysics and nanofabrication at the California Institute of Technology. He received his B.E.E. from Auburn University and worked in industry as an RF and optics engineer before completing his graduate work. He currently works as the Director of Nano-bioengineering for ENSCO, Inc. Dr. Adams has been the principal engineer for the development of the Global Environmental Micro Sensors system for the past three years. His interests include smart materials, organic electronics, biologically inspired structures and novel antenna design.
