The MINATEC Nanoscale Characterization Centre: Comprehensive and complementary analysis tools for nanoelectronics

François Rieutord

François Rieutord

Nanostructure and Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory, CEA, France

Dr François Rieutord is currently head of the Nanostructure and Synchrotron Radiation lab in the Department of Fundamental Research on condensed matter of the french atomic energy agency (CEA) in Grenoble France. He holds a PhD from Paris XI Orsay university and has been since, instrument scientist at the ILL neutron research center then staff scientist at the CEA and ESRF synchrotron. He has been a visiting scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His research deals with the structure of surfaces and interfaces and the development of associated instrumentation. He worked on thin film characterization (e.g. Langmuir organic layers), wetting problems (e.g. surface melting, nanodrop wetting). His scientific interest are focussed at the moment on fundamental issues associated to wafer bonding and splitting.

Speaking in the special symposium on Nanoscale Characterization.
