Abstract:
Novel, inexpensive, efficient method to detect SNPs, and locate genomic sequences (telomeres) with high fidelity. The RecA based method suits high-throughput simultaneous analysis of many SNPs, using fluorescence-tagged DNA probes. It may be used for rapid diagnose of cancers using minute quantities of DNA or RNA.
