Self-assembly of Block Copolymers in Environmental Ionic Liquids

Yiyong He

Yiyong He

Department of Chemistry, University of Minnesota, USA

Born in China, I received my B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering in 1997 and M.S. in Polymer Chemistry and Physics in 2000 from the University of Science and Technology of China. Then I moved to the US and continued my graduate research in Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, working with Professor Mark Ediger. Following my Ph.D. completed in June 2005, I joined Professor Tim Lodge’rsquo;s group in the University of Minnesota as a postdoc. My research experience includes characterizing and understanding the structures and dynamics of polymer blends, copolymers, polymer solutions, and homopolymers, with particular focus on local dynamics, diffusion, rheology, micellization, and gelation.\n

Speaking in the special symposium on Polymer Nanotechnology.
