Abstract:
In our nanofluidic architecture, naocapillary array can be built either by sandwiching the PCTE membrane/the FIB-milled nanoholes array in PMMA polymeric sheet between two microchannels or drilling nanoholes in the silicon nitride thin film by E-Beam lithography. These nanocapillary arrays were employed as either interconnects to establish controllable fluidic communication between micrometer-scale channels, or the patterning model for nanodeposition on surfaces. The ionic/nanoparticles transport through the nanocapillary can be studied by optical and electronic experiments. The achievements using these nanostructures result in the significant improvement of mass limited sample handling and patterning of nanostructure, which is important in the fields of nanotechnology and biosensor.
