Improved “Smart” Solutions for Mini-Environment Control

cleanrooms, FFU, efficiency, improved performance, smart systems

Abstract:
Mini-environments are growing in use and importance in the US market. Small and medium size cleanrooms share a set of common utilization needs by generally not being used 7/24. Yet they run at full power based upon the worst case room expectations. In an era of growing energy costs and desire to reduce maintenance costs and run expense, there is little available on the market traditionally available that is cost effective for these small systems. The presentation will review the performance benefits that the newer AC FFU controls provide. System criteria for small systems will be reviewed and the considerations in choosing the appropriate solution.
