Abstract:
Biofuel cells with electrodes of carbon foam based nanotubes showed a specific activity and bioaffinity related to different microorganisms, such as E. Coli or Staphylococcus.
Conclusions raised from this study convince us biofuel cells can be an interesting surveillance tool to detect viruses or other pathogens, arbitrary existing in enevironment
