IBU-tec GmbH & Co. KG is a German company with core competency in nano materials and process development. A thermal reactor, a proprietary development of IBU-tec, which is based on pulsating burning, is the reactor of choice for material transformation processes for the production of nano-cristalline powders.
Liquids, suspensions or solids are sprayed or injected into the reactor to receive a thermal shock treatment with extremely short retention times. The intensive material and heat response characteristics to this process allows the production of materials with new or improved features. This technology has proven to be widely applicable, and opens new synthesis strategies for nano sized crystalline powders and high surface area materials.
