CRC for microTechnology

The Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) program is a unique Australian initiative that encourages collaborative research and commercialisation activity between industry, research and government experts around an industrial technology need. The CRCs core business is to develop innovative products with concrete commercial applications.

The CRC for microTechnology has incorporated nanotechnology into its diagnostics, sensors and micro-array technologies. The CRC draws on expertise in microelectronics, microfluidics, biotechnology, nanotechnology particles, films and structures, polymers and plastics, systems integration and packaging, computation, modelling and software development. The CRC is working on new technologies for real-time intelligent diagnostics and sensor systems.
