- To study and verify the applicability of a new generation of sensors (decisional sensors), built through nanotechnology and applied for detecting chemical elements present in the air in vapor phase.
- To develop and validate such sensors, training them to detect some particular elements of interest, by means of artificial intelligence and self-learning techniques.
- To develop and validate integrated platforms for decisional sensors (incorporating sensing functionalities, data processing and transmission). The platforms will have the necessary flexibility to integrate other kind of sensors, when required.
- To develop and validate decisional ad-hoc sensors networks, for multi-parametric (acting on more substances measured at the same time) and de-localized (more measures in different points of space at the same time) monitoring.
