About the Virtual NanoLab
Virtual NanoLab is Atomistix’ patented user-friendly software package for simulation and analysis of the atomic scale properties of nanoscale devices. The program provides intuitive and comprehensive tools for gaining insight into the properties of nanoscale devices by simulating measurements through numerical calculations. Via its back end engine, the Atomistix ToolKit, Virtual NanoLab gives access to advanced modeling techniques such as non-equilibrium Green’s functions (NEGF) and density functional theory (DFT). The intuitive user interface, resembling a real laboratory with instruments and experiments, makes these techniques available even to non-experts in quantum chemistry and electronic structure calculations, allowing them to focus on the physical properties of the systems under investigation, and thus helping bridge the gap between expert research and effective product design.
