Abstract:
Monodisperse (5-10%) semiconductor nanocrystals (CdS, CdSe, CdTe, PbSe) and magnetic nanocrystals (Fe3O4) were successfully synthesized in cheap solvents, such as octadecene by controlling the nucleation and growth. Large scale high quality nanocrystals are easily to be obtained by simply scale up the quantities of the starting materials.
