Charles Evans & Associates is an independent and privately owned, commercial analytical service laboratory, recognized as the world leader in providing surface and microanalytical materials characterization. The company was founded in 1978, and has steadily grown to more than 125 employees. The expansion has resulted in three laboratories in the California "Silicon Valley": Redwood City, Sunnyvale, and Surface Science Laboratories (SSL) in Mountain View.
