Nanostellar's proprietary Rational Design and Rapid Fabrication Platform enables the computational modeling and rational design of nano-materials. Our platform is based on a fundamental understanding of surface chemistry and catalytic processes at the quantum chemistry level. Our software includes an understanding of industrial wet chemistry processes that enable the rapid synthesis and subsequent scale up of production of nano catalysts.

Our initial target market is Clean Energy Usage. Our products are lower cost and higher performance catalysts for emission control applications, replacing platinum. Other domains for nanocatalysts include Clean Energy Generation (e.g. photovoltaic) and Clean Energy Storage (e.g. fuel cells).
