For more than a decade, IntelliSense Software Corporation, a privately held company, has provided MEMS design and development services as well as Software Tools for the MEMS Professional. IntelliSense Software has developed advanced MEMS devices for many sectors including the optical, RF, laboratory equipment, and life sciences industries. IntelliSense leverages its expertise by selling a market-leading, device- and package-level MEMS software package, IntelliSuite®. IntelliSuite, since becoming the first commercial MEMS CAD tool on the market in 1995, has been the tool of choice for MEMS engineers in the design, simulation, and optimization of their devices. Because MEMS performance is highly dependent on the fabrication process, IntelliSuite uses machine settings and mask sets to generate 3D models for analysis. This assures both accurate geometry and accurate thin-film material properties are applied to IntelliSuite's MEMS-specific analysis engines (coupled thermo-electro-mechanical, microfluidic, and electromagnetic). By incorporating process templates, thin-film material engineering, mask layout, and device analysis within a single tool, IntelliSuite enables MEMS engineers to optimize devices prior to fabrication, reducing development time and costs.
