We are a fast growing high tech engineering software company with a proven track record and a vision as a future leader of the industry. The company was founded in July 1986 in Stockholm Sweden. We have grown to include offices in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Germany, France, U.S.A, and United Kingdom.

COMSOL's mission has always been to develop engineering modeling software. FEMLAB®, our flagship product was developed in-house by COMSOL and released in 1998. Our first modeling product was the PDE Toolbox released in 1995. We also are successful distributors of the MATLAB® and Maple® product lines in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
