Biography: Dr. Andreas Wild is the Executive Director of the Motorola Crolles Research Center, and the Director of the DigitalDNA(tm) Laboratories, Europe Middle East and Africa, of Motorola's Semiconductor Products Sector (SPS). He is based in Crolles, France. In his previous assignment, he was the Chief scientist and Director of engineering for the Latin America and Caribbean Region of SPS. Having responsibility for driving technology initiatives in Latin America, Andreas was very successful in establishing Regional Centers of Excellence including Motorola's software and design centers in Chile, Brazil and Mexico. A Motorola employee for 17 years, Andreas served as chief technologist for SPS's global technology organization and worked in the Sector's Advanced Custom Technology Laboratory in Mesa. From 1982 to 1983, Andreas was based in Munich, Germany leading the ASIC engineering group. He holds a doctorate from the Institute for Atomic Physics in Bucharest, Romania. The author of more that 50 technical publications and the recipient of 20 patents, Andreas is fluent in seven languages.
