Abstract:
Calient Optical is a small company of 11 employees with a MEMS silicon semiconductor fabrication facility located in upstate New York. Calient Optical has licenced the extensive MEMS patent portfolio (70+ patents) developed at Cornell University over the past decade. Several of our senior researches invented the concepts in those patents and are now extending that IP literature with ground-breaking progress in two-axis MEMS mirrors. We want to present our technology to the larger biotech and nanotech markets, in order to find new applications for our technology.

Nanotech 2004 Conference Technical Program Abstract
